Harpole Construction Inc. is committed to ensuring that we have a qualified workforce and that it's operations
comply with Federal Pipeline Safety regulations and the U.S. Department of Transportation.
The company has put together a program to enable employees to acquire and maintain the knowledge and skills
needed to perform specific covered tasks, to document that information, and to reduce the probability and consequences of
incidents. Our program is written pursuant to 49 CFR 192.805 and 195.505 to provide a framework for qualification of contact
personnel to perform all task subject to the provisions of 49 CFR parts 192 Subpart N and 195 Subpart G.
Harpole Construction Inc. currently employs an in-house Operator Qualification (OQ) evaluator. The evaluator
was chosen for his individual field knowledge and working skills as well as his completion of necessary training
to evaluate employees. The company uses industry approved evaluations to measure acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities
during training and skills assessments. Our employees performing covered tasks are evaluated through use of written exams,
verbal exams, performance on the job, and on the job training.
Our OQ Program is being monitored through the service of Veriforce, ISN, and soon NCMS. These programs
have currently been approved by EPNG and Kinder Morgan.
